The short version
1. Free tier
The Indernos free tier is, well, free — there is nothing to refund. You can stop using it at any time by deleting your server or your account.
2. Paid plans — 7-day money-back guarantee
If you purchase a Plus (₹99), Pro (₹299), or Max (₹499) subscription and decide it isn't right for you, request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. We will refund 100% of the amount paid, no questions asked. This guarantee applies only to your first paid subscription per Indernos account.
3. After the 7-day window
Outside of the 7-day window, monthly subscription payments are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from the Indernos control panel — cancellation immediately stops future billing, and your plan stays active until the end of the current billing cycle. After that, your account reverts to the free tier without losing your server data.
4. Upgrades and downgrades
Upgrading from one paid tier to a higher tier (e.g. Plus to Pro) charges the prorated difference for the rest of the billing cycle. Downgrading from a higher tier to a lower tier takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — no refund for the price difference within the current month.
5. Service disruptions
If you experience a service disruption that materially affects your paid plan (for example, a Delhi data center outage lasting more than 12 hours that prevents you from using your server), email us and we will issue a prorated credit or partial refund covering the affected period. Brief outages, scheduled maintenance, and free-tier auto-stops are not eligible.
6. Suspended or terminated accounts
If your account is suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service — for example, hosting illegal content, running attacks, or distributing pirated software — no refund will be issued, regardless of when in the billing cycle the violation occurs.
7. How refunds are processed
Refunds are issued to the original UPI source used for payment (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, or your bank account via UPI). We process eligible refunds within 7 business days of receiving your request. Bank processing on your end may add another 1–3 business days depending on your bank.
8. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the same email address registered to your Indernos account, with:
- The Indernos account email (if different from the sender)
- The plan you purchased and the date of payment
- The UPI ID or last 4 digits of the source account, if known
- A short reason for the refund (helps us improve — but not required)
We acknowledge refund requests within 24 hours, and process eligible refunds within 7 business days as noted above.
